Discover Your Roots: Genealogy 101

Join us for this virtual program as Hope Mowry, amateur genealogist and history enthusiast, leads us through how to start researching your family tree.

Over the course of 5 lessons, we will cover the basics of genealogy and provide you with the resources and skills to practice what you have learned on your own.

Each lesson will take go from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.

Lesson 1 (February 8th): Getting Started
Lesson 2 (February 22nd): Recording Information
Lesson 3 (March 8th): Working with Records
Lesson 4 (March 22nd): Searching for Records Online
Lesson 5 (April 12th): Putting it all Together

There is a fee of $5.00 per lesson or $20.00 for the whole program.
