►Public Safety Dispatcher (Anticipated Opening)
The Kennebunkport Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher. We are a coastal town with seasonal residential influxes and an engaged community whose values are based on mutual support. The Kennebunkport Police Department is very serviceoriented and community-based, so the ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, dedicated, and positive individual.

The Town of Kennebunkport offers a $1,000 hiring bonus, competitive pay-rate, and benefits package that includes retirement, health insurance, and disability insurance according to union and town policies.

►Patrol Officer
The Kennebunkport Police Department is accepting applications for the Police Officer position. We are a coastal town with seasonal residential influxes and an engaged community whose values are based on mutual support. The Police Department is searching for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and positive individual to join its force.

Are you a Maine State Certified Police Officer or have the ability to be certified within two months of date of hire? If yes, we are offering a $10,000 hiring bonus! Candidates would need to have a minimum of 1-year full-time police experience to be eligible to apply.

►Director of Parks and Recreation
The Town of Kennebunkport is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, organizer of fun and recreation to join our dynamic team as the Director of Parks and Recreation. Kennebunkport is a jewel along Maine’s coast and hosts a year-round population of approximately 3,700 but swells with summer residents and visitors during the summer months. 

This full-time position is responsible for all phases of design and implementation of public recreation programs and activities as well as the development, promotion, and maintenance of park facilities for the healthful living of all people within the community. This individual will supervise two full time and multiple part-time and seasonal employees who assist in these duties.

The position will remain open until filled; however, the review of resumes will begin March 22, 2021.

►Custodian Position (Parks and Recreation Department)
The Town of Kennebunkport is accepting applications for the position of Recreation Department Custodian. Do you like having flexible hours and enjoy completing tasks without being micromanaged? Do you enjoy being able to work at your own pace? If so, please consider applying for the Kennebunkport Recreation Custodial position.

Successful candidates will have at least a high school diploma with proven experience as a custodian or similar role. The hourly rate for this position is between $13.50-14.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
