Blackrock Farm Container Gardening Workshop: May 20, 9:30-11:30 am

Everyone loves pots planted with beautiful flowers. But what if you could attract butterflies and bees at the same time? Come to the gorgeous grounds of Blackrock Farm for a free Saturday morning workshop creating beautiful containers that will make you and our pollinator friends happy.

Bring your pot, purchase one at the farm, or just come to watch. Plants will also be available for sale. The event is rain or shine! We’re at 293 Goose Rocks Road, Kennebunkport.

Tips:

• If you bring your pot, a larger one will allow more space for more varieties of pollinator plants.
• Blackrock Farm will supply potting soil – no need to bring a filled pot.
• The workshop will demonstrate what kinds of plants attract pollinators and how to create a beautiful combination for your planter by Helen Lewand, owner of Blackrock Farm.
• If it rains, the workshop will be held in one of the lovely greenhouses.
