Minutes

 

Meeting called to order via zoom at 6:30.

Present: Joe Frank, Jennifer Comeau and Carol Laboissonniere

 

1. With Joe Frank’s term on the Commission ending, Joe transferred the administration of the Facebook page and the email to Jennifer.

2. Reported that KCC is no longer represented on the KCT Board as it is no longer in their bylaws. We should confirm that this is the case. Jenne was on the Board; however, her term on the KCC is up in June.

3. Issue of Water Quality at Goose Rocks Beach brought up again – committee members familiar with the area suggested need for more dog poop receptacles and inspection of residential septic systems. Chair advises that Goose Rocks Beach association may want to take the lead on this.

4. Werner asked that the KCC mission statement be put on the KCC website page. Carol will attend to this.

5. Decision to not hold meetings for July and possibly August.

6. Next meeting will be a site walk to view sustainable landscapes.

7. Meeting ended early due to members’ commitments.

8. Next meeting 6/14/2021 at 6:00.
