June 2007: Kennebunkport firefighters arrive at the scene a barn on fire on Mt. Kineo Road. A quick interior attack prevented serious damage to the adjacent house.
May 2017 Kennebunkport Firefighters arrive on the scene of a structure fire on Wildes District Road. Kennebunk and Wells provided mutual aid assistance.
January 2015: Kennebunkport Firefighters assisted KEMS personnel in a long carryout of an injured hiker from the woods off North Street.
March 2014: Kennebunkport firefighters train in the latest cold water & ice rescue techniques The course was conducted by Gerry Dworkin of Lifesaving Resources in Cape Porpoise. Gerry is an internationally known water rescue instructor who is also an active member of our department.
Labor Day Weekend 2014: Kennebunkport Firefighters use one of the department's rescue boats to deploy containment boom around an oil spill in Cape Porpoise Harbor. Maine DEP instituted clean-up activities involving the US Coast Guard and private contractors.

Feb. 2011: Firefighters from Kennebunkport, Kennebunk & Arundel utilized a house at Goose Rocks Beach slated for demolition for live fire training before conducting a controlled burn of the structure.
Training Burn August 2009: Kennebunkport firefighters held a training burn of a small structure on Beachwood Avenue that was slated for demolition. Several new members had the opportunity to gain some experience in handling hose lines under realistic conditions.
April 2007: Kennebunkport experienced the most severe coastal storm in 15 years resulting in power outages, downed trees and power lines and flooding in various parts of town. Here, firefighters secure a propane tank in a flooded section of Greer Road in Cape Porpoise.
December 2005: Kennebunkport Firefighters joined Police and Highway Department personnel in the rescue of a small moose that had become stuck in an ice-covered pond near Old Cape Road.
July 2005: Kennebunkport Firefighters decontaminate members of the York County HAZMAT Team following an incident at a local campground.
Feb. 2005: Kennebunkport Fire & KEMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle crash into the marsh at Goose Rocks Beach with the occupant trapped inside the partially submerged vehicle. Firefighters donned water rescue suits, entered the river and utilized the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver.
