Due to extensive storm damage, Colony Beach is closed to vehicular traffic through the summer of 2024. At this time, we are examining long-term solutions. Limited parking is still available along Parson's Way.

Beach Water Quality

Through our Public Health Department, the Town has participated in the Maine Healthy Beach Program since 2004. This federally funded program was established to ensure that swim beaches across the nation are as free as possible of bacteria that cause illness. Advisories are posted at the beaches as well as at town office where beach passes are sold, and also posted on the Town of Kennebunkport's website under the Public Health Department: Beach Water Quality Testing
