What happens to recycled materials at the Kennebunk Transfer Station?

Citizerns are asking what happens to the materials that they are bringing to the Kennebunk Transfer Station on Sea Road.  We asked the question - What happens to single sort and cardboard material brought to be recycled at Sea Road? 

The Sea Road Recycling Center in Kennebunk is managed by the CPRC Group, which is based in Scarborough.  CPRC Group delivers single sort and cardboard recycling materials to ecomaine and pays the posted tipping fee at their recycling facility.  Ecomaine in Portland is a non profit integrated waste management organization that utilizes Maine’s Solid Waste Management Hierarchy to process materials at their facility.
