Kennebunkport Emergency Medical Services "KEMS"

About Us

Beginning in 1979 with a donated Cadillac Ambulance and a small corps of dedicated volunteers from our community the goal at Kennebunkport Emergency Medical Services (KEMS) has been simple: extraordinary care and public service.  KEMS is a private, nonprofit, Advanced Life Support EMS agency that provides emergency medical care to the residents of the Town of Kennebunkport and mutual aid support to Arundel, Kennebunk, and Biddeford.  Our ambulance and offices are located at the Cape Porpoise Fire Station in Cape Square. We believe that our goals are accomplished only with real commitment from every member. As part of the community our members attend school, work, and live within our community at large. If you are interested in finding out more about working with KEMS please contact us. KEMS members serve as ambulance drivers or emergency medical technicians and paramedics. Working hand-in-hand with Kennebunkport Fire and Kennebunkport Police, KEMS strives to serve our residents and all those that visit.
