Town Clerk
The Town Clerk is the keeper of public records, past and present. The Town Clerk's department is responsible for:
- Coordinate the administration of elections for the town
- Issue hunting, fishing, and dog licenses
- Record and maintain all vital statistics records (birth, death, and marriage certificates) for the town
- Maintain a record of board and committee meetings
- Maintain the town's ordinances
- Administer the town’s business licenses, such as liquor licenses, victualer licenses, special amusement licenses, etc.
- Preserve official town records
- Issue marriage licenses
