Community Relations/Municipal Ordinance Officer
The Kennebunkport Police Department is seeking applications for summer Community Relations/Municipal Ordinance enforcement positions. These positions include patrolling the areas of Dock Square, Goose Rocks Beach. Civilians possessing the desire to be ambassadors for the community as well as enforcing the Municipal Ordinances for the Town of Kennebunkport will fill these positions. The duties include but are not limited to parking violation enforcement as well as other town ordinance enforcement, community relations, and public assistance. These positions require frequent walking, standing and may require light lifting and other physical work. Applicants for the positions of Community Relations/Municipal Ordinance must be 18 years of age or older. This positions starting pay is $14.00 an hour.
Positions will run from the middle of June to the end of August. Positions may range from 20-40 hours a week, depending on the availability of the candidate. The application process will consist of an interview and background investigation.

Parking Lot Attendants
The Town of Kennebunkport is accepting applications for Parking Lot Attendants at the Dock Square Municipal Parking Lot and Cape Porpoise Pier Parking Attendants. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and preferably hold a valid drivers license.
These seasonal, part-time positions are for an extended summer season, from May 17, 2017 to mid-October. Work days include day and/or night shifts, weekends and holidays. Parking Lot Attendants duties include assisting drivers in the parking lot while utilizing the automated payment system, proper insertion of their parking tickets and credit cards. Job requirements include: the ability to interact with the public in a courteous and helpful manner, giving directions, minor traffic direction and control, contacting Public Safety agencies when needed and troubleshooting the mechanical parking machines. Pier Parking Attendants duties include assisting drivers in the parking lot, the ability to interact with the public in a courteous and helpful manner, giving directions, minor traffic directions and control and contacting Public Safety agencies when needed. Both positions require frequent walking, standing and may require light lifting and other physical work.

Goose Rocks Beach Sticker Salesperson - Part-time
The Town of Kennebunkport is currently accepting applications for a part-time position selling parking stickers for Goose Rocks Beach at the Kennebunkport Police Department. The position is available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. This position includes working weekends. The schedule is six (6) days, five (5) hours each day (weather permitting). The work week may be shortened, with little notice, depending on inclement weather. Duties include reviewing required documentation, collecting the appropriate fees and issuing stickers as well as miscellaneous support for the communications center as needed. Basic math skills are required.
This position requires working in the police department so a background check will be completed on any potential hire.
The successful candidate shall be able to work independently and have strong customer service skills. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. The starting pay for this position is $10.00 an hour.
