The laboratory tests results are in for samples taken on
July 16, 2010. Samples taken at the mouths of the Little River Batson River/ Goose Rocks Beach are still elevated. It is advised that you avoid water contact at these sites. This advisory is in place until further notice.
Next water sample testing at both beaches will be July 20th.
The Town of Kennebunkport participates in the Maine Healthy Beaches Program which is a cooperative partnership to test the water quality of Maine beaches. Volunteers take tests once each week. If tests identify elevated bacteria levels, the public is notified to avoid water contact.
