GOOSE ROCKS BEACH WATER STATUS

The laboratory tests results are in for samples taken on August 25, 2009. The samples taken at all four sites on Goose Rocks Beach are elevated. It is advised that you avoid water contact at these sites at this time. This advisory is in place until further notice
The next sampling at this site will be conducted on August 26, 2009. Tests results should be in by late in the afternoon on August 27,2009.
The Town of Kennebunkport participates in the Maine Healthy Beaches Program which is a cooperative partnership to test the water quality of Maine beaches. Volunteers take tests once each week. If tests identify elevated bacteria levels, the public is notified to avoid water contact.
