GOOSE ROCKS BEACH WATER STATUS

The laboratory tests results are in for samples taken on
June 1, 2010. The sample taken at Colony Beach was elevated. It is advised that you avoid water contact at this site. This advisory is in place until further notice.
Colony Beach was retested noontime June 2nd. Test results will be available mid afternoon June 3rd.
All sites At Goose Rocks Beach were within normal limits.
The Town of Kennebunkport participates in the Maine Healthy Beaches Program which is a cooperative partnership to test the water quality of Maine beaches. Volunteers take tests once each week. If tests identify elevated bacteria levels, the public is notified to avoid water contact.
