Growth Planning Committee Minutes---February 25,2003
Present: Janet Belisle, Paul Knight, Matt Lanagan, Charlie Reid, Barbara Rencurrel
Absent: Jan Collins, Jack Senese
Agenda:
1.. Progress review:
Committee is behind schedule, important to get material to members ahead of the meeting for their review and for members to bring their copies of the material to be discussed to the meeting.
2.. History Chapter:
Unable to finalize, as Jan had not completed her addendum on Native Americans which she wants to add to the History Chapter. Members suggested a deadline for her submission of March 2,2003.
3. Discussion on request for additional monies from Planning Associates:
Members questioned merit of the request, but need more info before it makes a recommendation to the Selectmen.
4. Historical and Archaeological Chapter:
Chapter accepted:
Reviewed some of the goals and made corrections: ref: Janet
Review not completed as most members did not have copy of goals and disagreement on some changes prevented further action. Janet to send copies of goals to members for further discussion at next meeting
5. Marine Resources:
Chapter and Goals reviewed and accepted with corrections. Paul will finalize copy.
