changes involving the Critical Edge.
1. Page 3 (of Ad Hoc Committee Document): Invasive plants Concern
regarding chemical means being allowed. Need to define stringent
criteria for use of chemicals since leaching of chemicals kills lobster
larvae. Chemicals should be last resort after other means exhausted.
2. Page 4. Inconsistencies in Structures
Vacant lot-100’ setback
Owner demolition- can rebuild anywhere?
Leave house alone-30% restriction.
150 feet is no longer designated.
This is not an equitable scheme.
3. P.5 sections 2,3,4,5,
150 feet has shrunk to 75
4. P.8 E.2. 150 feet preferred
The meeting ended with a discussion of the need to educate people to the
positive aspects of living and gardening in harmony with their property.
Perhaps the C.C. might sponsor or co-sponsor a program for the public on
Bayscaping.”
Respectfully submitted,
