Town's Shade Tree Committee Plants New Tree in Dock Square
The revered large native red maple that has graced Kennebunkport Dock Square for so many years, with a spectacular show of color every autumn has a new young companion. As this tree becomes more fragile, the Town Shade Tree Committee arranged for a replacement tree, a native red maple cultivar chosen for its fall foliage, to begin establishing itself in close proximity.
